AMY RIIPINEN

Amy started gymnastics at the age of 5 and began coaching when she was 13. Amy received a Minnesota coaching certificate as part of her college degree. She was the assistant coach and head coach for the Hibbing High School gymnastics team before starting a family.

Amy enjoys coaching because she loves the sport and loves working with kids. Her best memory is when a gymnast of hers attended the summer Olympics in 1996 and brought back souvenirs for Amy’s newborn son.

Amy will be teaching tumbling on Pre-Advanced & Advanced tumbling this season.
